Presidential Details was established in 2008. It’s sole foundation was to offer quality treatments to fine automobile collectors. In an endless world of car washers, detailers and so on, there are few detailers that have the knowledge and experience to maintain exotic collections and high-line vehicles. To many a detail consists of a good wash and wax, here at Presidential it’s our standard to cater to the select few who understand the amount of time it takes to make things perfect. Ninety five percent of the world could care less about swirls and orange peel. To them their vehicle is just a means of transportation. The other five percent are the ones who value there investment. These five percent are are the car enthusiasts and collectors who value the finer things in life. They admire everything about there investment from the designer who created it, to the the finishing touches.  Barry shares the same passion as collectors and enthusiasts do. Passion is described as “any powerful or compelling emotion or feeling” its this powerful feeling that drives Barry to complete each treatment in a very high standard.

So who is Barry Theal?

Barry Theal is your everyday guy. A devoted husband to his wife Kristen and a Step-father and father  to his wife’s 2 children Jenna,Jared and his son Jake. As a Veteran of the United States Army,his core values are simple. Honesty, integrity and discipline is how he strives to live his every day life.

Barry Theal is a well respected and prominent figure in the detailindustry whose accomplishments far exceeded his dreams. In 1994,Barry began detailing part time on nights and weekends at a high-volume production shop which catered to one of the worlds largest Auto Auctions, Manheim Auto Auction. Starting out as just what they called that time a ” final out guy “. His duties included window cleaning, waxing, vinyl pinstripes, and the finishing out of a car. Within several months he was trained as a ” buffer ” His duties included wet sanding, compounding and polishing. That’s when it all began. He fell in love with how paint was transformed into a showroom shine over time. Barry states

 ” At the time, I can remember working those stunning old Porsche Whale Tails and seeing Guards Red shine like a wedding night bride. That’s when I knew polishing paint was something that not only relaxed me, but gave me a self worthiness of something special was accomplished“.

 In 1996 upon graduating from Manheim Central High School, Barry Joined up for the United States Army. Enlisted under MOS ” Military Occupational Skill “ 11Bravo. He was trained as an Infantry Soldier. Upon completing his duties as a Soldier, he returned back to his hometown and fell back into the detailing industry.

At this point detailing was rather job as opposed to a career. As time progressed and the passion grew, Barry began to have dreams of someday opening his own shop. Beginning to hone his skills while working for various shops, he felt the need to learn the business side of things. He took a job with a gentleman Todd Zimmerman from Zimmy’s Auto Detail.  Todd  mentored Barry on the operations of running a detail business. Vast area’s included Daily operations, Client relations,  and Auction Management Services. Later on Barry felt the need to understand the aspects of the Automated Car Wash Industry. Taking a general manager position at a local tunnel operation he learned the in and out’s of those general high production swirl a matics.  Fast forward a few years , after High Volume, Tunnel Washes and High End Dealership work. There was one thing missing from his life. With more then ten years under his belt, he was beginning to find the need for a company that catered to perfection. A company that specialized in quality. That’s when the past dreams were beginning to become a reality. In April of 2007 His son Jacob Theal was born. Jacob was the pure motivator behind Presidential Details.

With a plan in mind and virtually no money, Slowly he pieced together Presidential Details. Starting out with years of experience and no client base. Barry began to advertise on craigslist and other inexpensive ways to get a portfolio. With in a few years, Barry left a full time detailing gig to fully dedicate himself to Presidential Details.  Today Presidential Details now operates as a  one stop shop located in Manheim, Pennsylvania. With a Staff of 9 people, each one individually trained by Barry, to a specific area.  Our list of services include, Paint Correction, Interior Treatments, alloy wheel repair, aluminum wheel polishing, pinstriping, Interior repair, headlight resurfacing and several other detailing treatment.

The staff of 9 handle all the auction and dealership work, while Barry allows his expertise to be available to the retail clients. Today, Presidential Details has become a company well known threw out  the United States and on a  International Level for there accomplishments. 

 A list of accomplishments for Presidential Detail today include the following: 

- Product tester for Mequiars Car Care. In November 2010 Barry was one of 17 Detailers across the United States asked to give feedback for and test the Megiaurs DA Microfiber System. A product that simplified the polishing process. Today it one of the most game changing products in the industry.

-December  2010 Barry teamed up with Migliore Luxury Care car to create a Luxury Wax. Migliore Presidenziale, is now recognized as a premier Luxury Wax that is sold for $399.00 per 6 oz pot. This wax is readily available threw Migliore and other great companies like Autogeekonline.net.

-In January 2011 Barry was asked by 3D Products International owners of Autopia.org to moderate today’s oldest and largest online car detailing forum.

-In June 2011 Barry was flown to California to train roughly 100 detailers from across the United States on proper machine  and hand sanding.

In todays current events you can find Barry working on some of the world’s rarest cars,writing articles, and mentoring others.

At the end of the day its all worth it. To be able to educate and mentor other detailers is the most rewarding. Giving back to a community that has been so great to me is a reward in itself. Living the dream isn’t alway’s peaches and cream, but it sure is a great feeling.”
